Our story
It started with Lilly.
A Goldendoodle, a busy schedule, and the constant puzzle of who was handling drop-off and pick-up on any given day. Juggling a packed calendar while making sure Lilly was cared for sparked an idea: what if canine transport was actually easy?
That question, combined with a lifelong passion for dogs and a dream of making them the center of his career, led Jake to found Wag & Wheels. What began as a solution to one dog dad's daily dilemma has grown into a full suite of pet care services built on one simple promise — your pet is family, and we'll treat them that way.
Our mission is to promote a furry, friendly, and fun car ride experience to get your canine companions to and from their appointments in the safest and most efficient way possible. We'll care for your pets as if they were our own.

Every caregiver is background-checked, insured, bonded, and Pet CPR & First Aid certified before their first visit. Many bring additional credentials — Adventure Paw Guide, certified dog trainer, therapy dog handler.

Hi, I'm Shane! Growing up, my family always had dogs and cats, and we spent our time hiking and adventuring with our two golden retrievers. That love for the outdoors has only grown — and it's always a better adventure with a pup or two along. I've helped friends and family with their pets for years, and I'm thrilled to do it full-time with the Wag & Wheels team.

Hello! I'm Michelle, and I love all creatures big and small — but dogs tug at my heartstrings the most. I've been a dog mom to three over the last 20+ years, volunteered at a local animal shelter for over three years, and fostered a few pups along the way. Our pets are family, and it's an honor to care for yours.

Hi, I'm Jenna! Born and raised in NH, I've always been an avid animal lover with a soft spot for dogs and cats. I love getting to know each pet's personality and building that special bond — whether they want belly rubs, a leisurely stroll, or an energetic trail walk. I'm especially patient with anxious or quirky dogs, and happy to earn their trust. I'll care for your pet as if they were my own.

Hello, I'm Alice! No one would believe it now, but as a toddler I was terrified of dogs — until I met my preschool teacher's black lab, Liz, and spent playtime curled up under the table with her. I've been a full-blown dog person ever since. I worked with dogs in Texas for three years before moving home to New Hampshire, and I jump at any chance to care for them.

I'm Christine, a dog walker who loves the outdoors — especially with a dog (or two, or three) by my side. I'm all about turning everyday walks into little adventures, whether we're exploring new trails, hiking through the woods, or enjoying a neighborhood stroll. I love giving dogs the chance to sniff, play, and explore while keeping them safe and happy.

I'm Colleen, a huge animal lover with years of hands-on experience. I spent 10 years in pet retail, 12 years managing a veterinary office, and about 8 years pet sitting — giving pets the love and attention they need while their owners are away. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life, and it's something I truly enjoy.

Hi, I'm Jill! Born and raised in Massachusetts, I recently moved here and am so excited to keep caring for your four-legged family members. I've been a professional dog walker for four years and truly love what I do — it never feels like work. I own a three-year-old English Cream named Phoebe who's my world; we love hiking and beach swims together.
